Advanced, Minimally Invasive Uterus Removal
A laparoscopic hysterectomy is a modern surgical procedure to remove the uterus using small incisions and a tiny camera called a laparoscope. This minimally invasive technique offers faster recovery, less pain, and smaller scars compared to traditional open surgery.
Minimal scarring with tiny incisions
Less pain and quicker healing
Shorter hospital stay
Faster return to daily activities
Reduced risk of infection and complications
Laparoscopic hysterectomy may be advised for conditions such as:
Uterine fibroids causing pain or heavy bleeding
Endometriosis
Abnormal uterine bleeding not responding to other treatments
Chronic pelvic pain
Certain gynecological cancers
Uterine prolapse
The surgery is usually done under general anesthesia. Dr. Preeti Meena will make small incisions in your abdomen to insert the laparoscope and surgical instruments. The uterus is carefully detached and removed either through the vagina or by fragmenting it through the small incisions.
Post-surgery, you may stay in the hospital for 1-2 days and recover at home within a few weeks with proper care.
